You wrote it, you lived it, and now it’s time to share it! UntitledTown 2026 is hosting a special literary reading celebrating the voices of self-taught authors. If you didn’t go the traditional MFA route and learned your craft in the trenches of the real world, this stage is for you. We are looking for authentic, raw, and original work from authors who paved their own paths.
The event features curated readings followed by an open mic session, where you have five minutes of stage time to own the room. Apply now to celebrate the power of self-made stories!
How to Apply
- Submit up to 1,500 words of your best original work via our portal [TBD].
- Include a 50-word bio that honors your unique journey as a self-taught writer.
- Specify if you are applying for a featured slot or the open mic session.
