A compelling public reading can boost book sales, create new opportunities, and turn listeners into loyal readers. Drawing on her experience as both an author and actor, Tonya Todd will share practical techniques for selecting, preparing, and delivering readings that captivate audiences and leave them eager to buy your book.

Tonya Todd tells stories about passionate women and the lovers obsessed with them. She often explores the infinite hues of what drives us all: relationships and desires. Known for her advocacy, she specializes in literary citizenship, event hosting, building relationships with publishing professionals, and connecting with audiences. She is co-editor and contributor for Comics Lit, an essay collection about the value of comic books, author of 52 Love: Weekly Love Lessons in Bite-Sized Bits, and co-host on Femme On Podcast. Her anti-censorship series Banned Books Conversations is available on YouTube. She is currently working on a feminist Dracula retelling.
