TK Sheffield, MA, writes stories for readers to laugh and escape. Her “Backyard Model Mysteries” series is The Devil Wears Prada meets a Wisconsin supper club—complete with brandy old-fashioneds and cheese curds. Recent releases include Nellie’s Island and The Valentine Lines, Grand Prize Finalists for the 2026 Eric Hoffer Book Awards. Her screenplays have won honors in Wisconsin, New York, and Los Angeles festivals. A UW-Madison and Mount Mary University graduate, Sheffield co-hosts the chat show Blackbird Writers on Substack TV. She teaches loglines, short descriptions, and cozy mystery craft at conferences including WWA, Lakefly Writers, and Killer Nashville.
